The guided tour of the city: starting from the city center: Piazza del Duomo, the "piazza" with the greater density of historical-architectural elements from various eras, such as the Gothic Cistercian Cathedral, the Renaissance Torrazzo, Venetian style Palazzo Comunale (city hall), the Guelph Tower from the municipal era, the Palazzo Vescovile (the episcopal palace), an elegant example of the Lombard Renaissance and the Palazzo Pretorio, another Venetian work of the 16th century.
Through Crema's beautiful streets and squares in paved stone in an atmosphere full of charm and history you can admire the perfectly restored and maintained historic buildings and residences, some of which are still inhabited by descendants of local noble families.
And again the Venetian walls that enclose the city center, among beautiful churches of various eras the Basilica of Santa Maria della Croce stands out: it's a masterpiece of the fifteenth-century architecture of Bramantesca inspiration that closes this rich tour that discovers the city of Crema.
From 15 May 2021 the visits will take place every Saturday and Sunday, two a day (10.30 am and 3.00 pm).
Please note that reservations are required at least three days before arrival in Crema for the other days of the week.
