Discover the historic center of Crema!
The city of Crema, located in the center of Lombardy, became an attractive center because of its strategic location. A defensive citadel was erected in the heart of the city, characterized by the Palazzo Comunale with the Guelph Tower and the church of Santa Maria della Mosa, now the Cathedral.

It was subjected to the Visconti and later to the Republic of Venice.
Even today Crema represents a unicum in the panorama of Lombard cities, characterizing itself by its artistic beauty and seventeenth-century atmosphere.

SELF-GUIDED TOUR WITH AUDIOGUIDE

Starting point: Pro Loco Crema, Piazza Duomo 22
​
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. receptionists will be available at the tourist office to offer all information about Crema and to give directions on how to use the free audioguide dedicated to the city (listen on your cell phone).

PREFER TO BOOK A GUIDED TOUR? HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS

For those interested, you can book a guided tour of the city lasting about 2 hours.
​
The tour will be held from 10 a.m. to noon.
​
Starting point: Pro Loco Crema, Piazza Duomo 22
​
Meeting time: no later than 9:45 a.m. to make registration and fee payment.
Reservations can be made:
​
- using the form below (Please wait for our email confirming your reservation registration)
or
- on the day itself at Pro Loco Crema in Piazza Duomo 22 (subject to availability)
​
Price: €8 per person to be paid at the Pro Loco before departure, free for children under 12 and handicapped persons.
Program:
Through wonderful streets and squares paved in stone and porphyry in an atmosphere full of charm and history you will admire the main historical monuments of Crema (EXTERIOR ONLY).
​
Piazza Duomo with the Torrazzo, the Guelph Tower and the Town Hall. The Ghetto, Piazza Garibaldi with the Venetian Walls, the former Sant'Agostino Convent (now home to the Crema Civic Museum), the Crema Theater, the Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace.

Scopri i Chiostri dell’ex Convento Agostiniano, il refettorio con l’affresco dell’Ultima Cena e
la Casa Cremasca, ricostruzione di un’antica abitazione contadina locale.
