L'evento
On November 1st 2009 one of the most important and passionate poetic voices of the Italian twentieth century disappeared: Alda Merini. Some of his personal and family events are known to a large audience through the media of television, but some passages of his biography are completely unknown. Among these, there are the knowledge, the acquaintance and the friendship of the great poet with the artist Angelo Noce and the poet Elio Chizzoli, with whom Merini had a correspondence; material of extreme interest that is now made available to the public in Cremona. In total there are 19 handwritten or typewritten letters that will be exhibited, as well as various unpublished poems and original photos of the poetess in the studio of
Noce, then located in Palazzo Donati, in the publication “The most beautiful poems”, edited by Angelo together with Alda. There will also be side events that will enrich the exhibition:
-Friday 8 November 2019 , 9 pm, Bottesini Room - San Domenico Foundation: Performance by Mario Piacentini; Mariangela Torrisi reads Alda Merini
- Friday 15 November 2019 , 9 pm, Sale Agello - Sant'Agostino Cultural Center: Luigi Ottoni reads Elio Chizzoli
